Dr. Anjali Acharya is a Senior Environmental Specialist in the World Bank’s East Asia and Pacific Region. Based in Singapore, she is leading the East Asia Regional Marine Debris initiative, as well as several country programs on marine plastics. Over the last 5 years, she has led complex multisectoral projects at the landscape and delta-level in Vietnam and Cambodia. Over her 23 years at the World Bank, she has worked on a range of environmental issues including pollution management, climate resilience, water resources management, environmental health, biodiversity, and environmental policies. She has experience leading and working on investment and policy lending projects, and analytical studies in the Africa, East and South Asia, and Latin America and Caribbean regions. An Indian national, Dr. Acharya holds a Ph.D. degree in International Environmental Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Economics from Duke University.

Henri Arslanian is the PwC Global Crypto Leader and Asia FinTech Leader, the Chairman of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong where he teaches the first FinTech university course in Asia.

Professor Ba Shusong is a fellow of experts who receive the State Council’s special allowance. He was awarded by China's Social Science Assessment in 2017 as the Chinese scholar with the highest citation frequency in Chinese literature on economics from 2006 to 2015. Professor Ba had participated in a large number of seminars and forums held by policy-makers in the financial fields as a financial specialist, and lectured to members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in China as the main speaker. He had held management positions in a wide range of financial institutions including commercial banks, securities companies, public funds and trust companies. As an expert who is familiar with the actual practice of China's financial operations and policy-making process as well as well versed in financial theory research, he possesses rich practical experience and research achievements. Professor Ba received the Global Youth Leader Award from the World Economic Forum in 2009.

Burkhard Balz has served on the Bundesbank’s Executive Board since September 2018 and is responsible for Directorates General Payments and Settlement Systems, Economic Education and International Central Bank Dialogue.

From 2009 up until joining the Deutsche Bundesbank, the law graduate and trained bank clerk was a Member of the European Parliament, where he sat on the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and served as the financial policy spokesman of the European People’s Party (EPP) between 2014 and 2018. In his role as rapporteur, Mr Balz presented reports on, inter alia, Latvia’s accession to the euro area, the Solvency II Directive and regulations pertaining to the European Supervisory Authorities. Between 2014 and 2018, he was a member of the EPP Group Bureau. He was also a member of the ASEAN delegation of the European Parliament. Mr Balz was Chair of the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum from 2014 to 2018 and also chaired the EP – Hong Kong Friendship Group.

Prior to his membership of the European Parliament, Mr Balz held various positions at Commerzbank AG in Hanover, where he most recently headed the department for institutional clients.

Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee is the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economics recipient along with his wife, Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer, He was educated at the University of Calcutta, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Harvard University, where he received his Ph.D in 1988. He is currently the Ford Foundation International Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2003 he founded the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), along with Esther Duflo and Sendhil Mul¬lainathan, and he remains one of the lab’s directors.

Abhijit Banerjee is a past president of the Bureau for the Research in the Economic Analysis of Development, a Research Associate of the NBER, a CEPR research fellow, International Research Fellow of the Kiel Institute, a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Econometric Society, and has been a Guggenheim Fellow and an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow and a winner of the Infosys prize.

He is the author of a large number of articles and four books, including Poor Economics, which won the Goldman Sachs Busi¬ness Book of the Year. Abhijit’s newest book, co-authored with Esther Duflo, titled Good Economics for Hard Times, is on how economics can help us solve social and political problems of our day. He is the editor of three more books and has directed two documentary films. He also served on the U.N. Secretary- General’s High-level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

Naina joined AVPN as CEO in September 2013, and was appointed as Chairperson in May 2018. Naina’s leadership over the past 6 years has grown the AVPN membership by more than 4x and elevated the organization into a truly regional force for good. Natalie Blyth is the Global Head of HSBC’s Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) business, which provides clients with financing and risk mitigation solutions to meet all their trade requirements. HSBC is the world’s number one trade finance bank and processes USD700bn of trade each year. GTRF is driving a high priority transformation project to digitise trade. The project harnesses key technologies such as cognitive automation, OCR and Distributed Ledger Technology / Blockchain, where HSBC has led the industry with both proof-of-concepts and live transactions on scalable platforms. Natalie joined HSBC in 2007 and has held a number of leadership roles in both the investment bank and the commercial bank. Natalie has been an investment banker for 22 years, including time at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Before her move into banking, Natalie worked as a solicitor at Stephenson Harwood, focused on corporate law. Natalie has a BSc in Biochemistry from St Andrew’s University and has featured in the Financial News Top 100 Women in Finance list since 2013.

Geraldine Buckingham, Senior Managing Director, is BlackRock’s Chair and Head of Asia Pacific and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. She is responsible for all business activities in the region, which includes Greater China, Japan, Australasia, Southeast Asia, India and Korea. Dr. Buckingham previously served as BlackRock’s Global Head of Corporate Strategy. She was named to Fortune Magazine and Crain’s New York Business’ “40 Under 40” lists for 2017. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2014, Dr. Buckingham was a partner with McKinsey & Company’s financial services practice based in New York. She worked primarily with large global asset managers with additional experience in wealth management and private equity, as well as functional expertise in strategy and organization.

Dr. Buckingham received the Rhodes scholarship to study at Oxford University, where she earned a Master of Philosophy degree in Comparative Social Policy. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degrees from Monash University.

Mr Benjamin Cha is Chief Executive of Grosvenor Asia Pacific. He was previously Managing Director, Head of Global Real Estate, Greater China, for UBS Global Asset Management and Co-CEO for UBS/Gemdale, and prior to that was Executive Director and Head of HKR Asia-Pacific for HKR International. Mr Cha is a long-standing supporter of the contemporary art ecosystem in Hong Kong and serves on the board of M+, is Co-chair of the Board of Asia Art Archive, and serves on the Advisory Committee and Art Working Group of Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts. Ir. Eric Chan is the Chief Public Mission Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport. Ir. Chan is in charge of building the ecosystem of nurturing start-ups from inspiring the next generation, through nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, to empowering global ambition, by providing comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes and early stage funding.

Ir. Chan has 32 years of experience in the ICT industry, a chartered engineer, a chartered marketer and a fellow of Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK). Prior to joining Cyberport, Chan was a Director of HGC Global Communication; and had held various senior positions in global telecom and IT services companies including PCCW, PCCW Consulting Services, Cable & Wireless HKT. Ir. Chan has been active in public services, especially in education and industrial training, professional bodies and charitable organisations. Ir. Mr. Jacky Chan is AIA Group Regional Chief Executive responsible for the Group’s businesses operating in Hong Kong and Macau, Indonesia and the Philippines as well as Group Agency Distribution and Group Corporate Solutions. He is a director of various companies within the Group, including AIA Company Limited and AIA International Limited. Mr. Chan has extensive experience having worked at AIA for the past 31 years. Prior to becoming a Regional Chief Executive, Mr. Chan was Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong and Macau since 2009. Previously, he held several senior positions including the Country Head of AIA China, Executive Vice President – Distribution & Marketing of Nan Shan Life Insurance of Taiwan and Senior Vice President & Head of Life Profit Centre of AIA - Asia (ex-Japan & Korea). Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a member of American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA).

Mr Chan was appointed the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 16 August 2017.

Mr Chan has many years of senior executive experience in the banking industry. He was a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division of Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, and was a Managing Director in Financial Markets of Standard Chartered Bank.

Prior to joining the Government, Mr Chan held multiple roles in a number of public and professional bodies, including Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, Director of Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute, Advisor of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, as well as a General Committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr Chan was also a member of the Central & Western District Council.

Mr Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hon) and Psychology from the University of Michigan, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Ms Natalie Chan is the senior advisor of Civic Exchange. She has more than 15 years of experience in corporate responsibility and sustainability management, with extensive experience in stakeholder research and engagement across cultures and sectors, including government, business, non-profits and academia, to drive sustainable change. She also worked at South China Morning Post, leading the Post’s citywide community giving and engagement programme, and served as Hong Kong staffer of APEC Business Advisory Council on policy lobbying work during her tenure with Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Natalie holds a master’s degree in Corporate Environmental Governance from the University of Hong Kong and completed the Prince of Wales’ Business and Sustainability Programme from the University of Cambridge, U.K.

Ms Chan serves on a number of government and industry advisory committees in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility in Hong Kong, including the Energy Advisory Committee of the HKSAR Government, as well as the Advisory Board of London-based Ethical Corporation. She is also a non-executive director of Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analysts.

Mr Norman Chan was the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in 2009-2019. Mr Chan joined the Hong Kong Government as an Administrative Officer in 1976 and became Deputy Director (Monetary Management) of the Office of the Exchange Fund in 1991. He was appointed an Executive Director of the HKMA when it was established in 1993. From 1996 to 2005, Mr Chan served as Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA. From December 2005 to June 2007, Mr Chan was Vice Chairman, Asia of Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to rejoining the HKMA, Mr Chan was Director of the Chief Executive’s Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government from July 2007 to July 2009. He was the Founding Chairman of the policy think tank, the Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre established in 2006.

Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a former Chairman of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Hong Kong.

Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council; Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council; Board Member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority; non-official member of the Strategic Development Commission and Council Member of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr Chan served as Secretary for Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government from July 2012 to January 2017. He was appointed Financial Secretary on 16 January, 2017.

Mr. Ronnie C. Chan is Chairman of Hang Lung Group Limited and its subsidiary Hang Lung Properties Limited, both publicly listed in Hong Kong. Founded in Hong Kong in 1960, the Group expanded into mainland China in 1992, developing, owning and managing world-class commercial complexes in key tier one and tier two cities.

Mr. Chan co-founded Morningside, an international investment group established in 1986 with venture capital and private equity investments in manufacturing, TMT, and biotechnology. In 1996, he co-founded the Morningside Center of Mathematics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and helped establish the triennial International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians where Morningside Medals of Mathematics are awarded. In 1997, he helped found the North America based Morningside Music Bridge for young classical musicians.

Mr. Chan is active in many other non-profit and educational organizations. Mr. Chan is Chairman of the Executive Committee of The Better Hong Kong Foundation. He founded and chairs the China Heritage Fund, is a co-founding Director of The Forbidden City Cultural Heritage Conservation Foundation in Beijing, and is former Vice President and former Advisor of the China Development Research Foundation in Beijing. He is founding Chairman of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society, and founding Chairman Emeritus of Asia Business Council. He is also former Chairman of the Hong Kong-United States Business Council, and former Chairman of the Executive Committee of One Country Two Systems Research Institute. Mr. Chan is Chairman Emeritus of Asia Society and Chairman of its Hong Kong Center, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and Committee of 100.

Mr. Chan serves or has served on the governing or advisory bodies of several think tanks and universities, including Peterson Institute for International Economics, World Economic Forum, East-West Center, Pacific Council on International Policy, Eisenhower Fellowships, The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, University of Southern California, Indian School of Business, Yale University, Tsinghua University, and Fudan University.

Mr. Chan is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has published numerous articles in Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Newsweek, Fortune, Asian Wall Street Journal, Far Eastern Economic Review, and Japan Times.

Raymund is the Chairman of PwC Asia Pacific and the Chairman & CEO of PwC China. He is also one of the five senior partners on PwC’s global Network Leadership Team that sets the overall strategy for the PwC Network and the standards to which PwC firms agree to adhere.

Raymund was born and raised in Hong Kong and began his professional career in Toronto, Canada in 1984 after graduation. He then returned to Hong Kong in 1993 and was admitted to the Partnership in 1995. He was appointed to the China firm’s Management Board in 2002 and in 2003, he relocated to Beijing and became PwC’s China Assurance Leader in 2005. From 2011 to 2015, he also became PwC’s Assurance Leader for the Asia Pacific region. Raymund returned to Hong Kong in 2014 and was elected Chairman & CEO for the PwC China firm in 2015. In 2017, he also became PwC’s Asia Pacific Chairman.

During his 35 years of professional experience, Raymund has provided assurance and business advisory services to both private and public enterprises in Hong Kong as well as state-owned and private enterprises in mainland China. Dr. Kevin Chen is Senior Research Fellow and Head of East and Central Asia Office at the International Food Policy Research Institute, Chair Professor of China Academy of Rural Development at Zhejiang University and is also the Dean of CARD. He is co-editor of China Agricultural Economic Review and also managing editor of the journal International Food and Agribusiness Management Review. He is a member of Independent Expert Group (IEG) for Global Nutrition Report (GNR). He was an associate professor at the Department of Resource Economics and Sociology at the University of Alberta from 1995-2004. He also served as an editor for Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics in 2003-04. Tianjian Chen is the Deputy General Manager of the AI Department of WeBank, China. He is now responsible for building the Banking Intelligence Ecosystem based on Federated Learning Technology.

Before joining WeBank, he was the Chief Architect of Baidu Finance, Principal Architect of Baidu. Tianjian has over 12 years of experience in large-scale distributed system design and enabling technology innovations in various application fields, such as web search engine, peer-to-peer storage, genomics, recommender system, digital banking, and machine learning.

Dr Cheng is currently practising as a Consultant of a law firm, after having served as its Senior Partner for over 20 years. His areas of practice straddle capital markets, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance. He has been actively contributing to the community, and is currently a member of the Financial Leaders Forum and a director of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance of which he is a Fellow. He has also served in various important positions, including the Chairman of the Education Commission, the government-appointed Director on the Board of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, and the founding Vice-Chairman of the Estate Agents Authority.

Susanne Chishti is the award-winning CEO of FINTECH Circle, Europe’s 1st Angel Network focused on fintech investments & Founder of the FINTECH Circle Institute, the leading fintech learning platform offering Innovation Workshops to C-level executives and fintech courses. Leo is a tech savvy entrepreneur. After graduation, Leo was recruited into Morgan Stanley and found it’s not his cup of tea, Leo came back to Silicon Valley and started his STEM career.

The last 4 big data/AI startups Leo served as core contributor all lead to successful IPO or M&A, with a combined market valuation of over US$1B.

Before joining Click Ventures, Leo worked as a venture partner of the Spike Ventures (a VC fund for Stanford University Alumni), focusing on blockchain, AI and big data related ventures.

Mr Nelson Chow has been appointed to the present position from 1 September 2016 with responsibilities for facilitating the healthy development of the fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong and promoting Hong Kong as a fintech hub in Asia. He joined the HKMA in 2004 and was responsible for the supervision of banks’ technology risk management and business continuity planning as well as the formulation of related policies and guidelines. He was the Deputy Chief Representative of the New York Office in 2010. After returning to Hong Kong in 2013, he took up responsibilities to super vise banks’ operational risk management and perform macro-prudential data analysis. Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr Chow was a Vice President of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. responsible for information risk management of the Asia Pacific region.

Richard Chow is the current Head of Digital for UBS Wealth Management overseeing digital business and innovation initiatives for Asia Pacific region. Since Richard joined UBS 7 years ago, he has led the team to win various industry awards for UBS Wealth Management including Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2019, recognised Global #1 mobile app by Myprivatebankingresearch.com in 2016, Wealth Briefing Asia Awards 2016 – Innovative Client Solution…etc. Richard is an advocate to promote Fintech development and was Co-Chair of WealthTech Committee under Fintech Association of Hong Kong for 2 years.

Before joining UBS, Richard started his career in HSBC, he was the regional business lead overseeing retail banking digital banking development for 14 APAC countries.

Victor Chu was born in Canton, China and came to Hong Kong at the age of four. He received his early education in Hong Kong and England, and took his law degree at University College London where he is now a honorary fellow. Mr Chu is Chairman of First Eastern Investment Group, a leading Hong Kong-based international investment firm and a pioneer of private equity investments in China. He is a Co-Founder and Director of Peach Aviation in Japan, as well as a Board Member of Airbus SE. Over the last 30 years, Victor Chu has at various times served as Director and Council Member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Member of the Hong Kong Takeovers and Mergers Panel, Advisory Committee Member of the Securities and Futures Commission, and part-time member of Hong Kong Government’s Central Policy Unit. Mr Chu has also served as a Foundation Board Member of the World Economic Forum from 2003 to 2015 and currently co-chairs the Forum’s International Business Council. He is Chairman of the Hong Kong-Europe Business Council. Victor Chu has served on the Governing Council of University College London and the Foreign Affairs University of China. He is a Trustee of Asia House in London and Hong Kong, as well as a member of the advisory boards of Chatham House, the Oxford Martin School and the Atlantic Council of the USA. Mr Chu was awarded the 2011 Global Economy Prize by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

Francesca Cornelli is the dean of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is also a professor of finance and holds the Donald P. Jacobs Chair of Finance.

Previously, she was professor of finance and deputy dean at London Business School. She directed and advanced the highly regarded Private Equity Institute of London Business School, building a bridge between academia and practice by partnering with private equity leaders in London, alumni and top academics in the field.

Dean Cornelli has also served as an independent board member of several global corporations, including financial institutions.

Dean Cornelli earned her PhD in economics from Harvard.

Jonathan Drew is a Managing Director, Sustainable Finance in Real Assets & Structured Finance Group at HSBC. Jonathan graduated with an MA in Economics from Cambridge University in England and is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Jonathan started his banking career more than 20 years ago in London and after working in rapidly emerging Latin America and raising capital for large scale projects in the Middle East has been based in Hong Kong since 1997 witnessing first-hand the rapid growth of Asia and notably China. During this time he has been involved in successful transactions across a wide range of sectors including advising on and arranging finance for projects that produce and deliver energy (renewable and non-renewable) and transport people and resources from source to point of consumption as well as a wide range of infrastructure projects in social and education sectors with a focus on resource efficiency and sustainability. These transactions have involved supporting projects, corporates and institutions to approach various financial markets and structuring innovative and tailored products including green bonds and loans to meet the often large and specific needs of clients in markets with very distinct financial and regulatory characteristics. Jonathan is responsible for driving HSBC’s Sustainable Finance initiative across the Asia region for the banking business. Mr. David Fong is the Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Co Ltd. Mr. Fong obtained a Master degree in Business Administration from The University of Hong Kong and an Honorary Fellow of City University of Hong Kong. Mr. Fong is currently a National Committee Member of CPPCC, an Honorary Trustee of Peking University and a member of the Board of Trustee of Jinan University. Ms Margaret Fong is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) since 1 October 2014. With a global network of 50 offices, Ms Fong heads this international team whose mission is to create and facilitate opportunities in global trade for Hong Kong-based companies. She joined the HKTDC in 2010 as Deputy Executive Director, responsible for the international promotion of Hong Kong’s product and service industries and the Council’s office network worldwide.

Ms Fong has worked in a variety of public service posts, beginning her career as an Administrative Officer with the Hong Kong Government. From 1997 to 1999, she served as Deputy Director-General in the Washington Economic and Trade Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

She was Deputy Secretary for Transport from 1999 to 2004, Director-General of the Washington Economic and Trade Office from 2004 to 2006, and Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, USA, from 2006 to 2008, representing the Hong Kong SAR Government in the United States. Before joining the HKTDC, Ms Fong was the Commissioner for Tourism from November 2008 to December 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong.

Ms Fong is a member of the Aviation Development and Three-runway System Advisory Committee, the Film Development Council, the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Mr Fung is the Head of Market Development Division, a policy unit in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) for developing Hong Kong’s financial industry. In this role, Mr Fung is in charge of HKMA’s policy initiatives and development efforts to enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness as an international asset management centre and a corporate treasury centre. In addition, Mr Fung is the General Manager of HKMA’s Infrastructure Financing Facilitation Office, which aims to facilitate infrastructure investments and their financing in the region. Prior to his current position, Mr. Fung was the head of the Financial Stability Surveillance Division, responsible for the market monitoring and macro-prudential surveillance work in relation to strengthening the HKMA’s oversight of global financial issues.

Mr Fung joined the HKMA in 2011. Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr Fung was a senior economist at Goldman Sachs based in Hong Kong and Singapore, responsible for macroeconomic research and strategies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ryan has been working in banking and finance industry for over 20 years. He was appointed as Chief Executive of Ping An OneConnect Bank since February, 2019. Prior to that, Ryan worked in Standard Chartered Bank for 18 years and held various senior positions across consumer finance, product and distribution functions.

Dr Terence Fung is currently the Deputy Head of Department of Surgery at the Union Hospital of Hong Kong.

He graduated in the year 1994 from the Faculty of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong and became a fellow of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2002. After many years of service in the public hospitals under the Hospital Authority, Dr Fung started his private surgical career as a consultant surgeon in the Union Hospital since year 2006. His surgical expertise covers a wide range of minimal invasive surgeries as well as endoscopic procedures.

Apart from making publications in peer reviewed journals, he is a reviewer of local medical journals and examiner for medical graduates.

His current teaching appointment is Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He has been frequently asked to give talks and interviews in local media for general public health education. He also helps to deliver a number of talks to insurance agents for their vocational training. Recently he is appointed to be the Chief Medical Executive of the AIA Union Medical Centre which is the first joint venture company formed between a private hospital and insurance company in Hong Kong.

Dr. William Fung is Group Chairman of Li & Fung Limited, Chairman of Global Brands Group Holding Limited and non-executive director of Convenience Retail Asia Limited, all publicly listed companies within the Fung Group. He is also adirector of King Lun Holdings Limited and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fung Holdings (1937) Limited, substantial shareholders of the Fung Group.

Dr. Fung graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and degrees of Doctor of Business Administration (honoris causa) from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Baptist University. He was conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters by Wawasan Open University in Malaysia.

Dr. Fung is an independent non-executive director of VTech Holdings Limited, Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited and The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited.

In recognition of his outstanding entrepreneurship, Dr. Fung was voted one of the world’s Top 25 Managers in 1995 and 50 stars of Asia in 2000 by Business Week, and Businessmen of the Year by Forbes in 2006. He previously held key positions in major trade and business associations. He is a former Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association and the Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation Council.

Dr. Fung was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in 2008 for his outstanding service to the community.

Yvette is the Chair of The Yeh Family Philanthropy and a Director of Hsin Chong International Holdings Ltd. She has a long history of educational involvement, through several schools, universities, and organizations in Hong Kong and the US. She is a current member of the Court and the Institutional Advancement and Outreach Committee and a former member of the Council of the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology; a member of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School; and a former Board member of the Hong Kong International School. Yvette also has a strong commitment to the non-profit sector in Hong Kong, including current Board membership in the Bai Xian Asia Institute and SOW Asia Foundation. William Gee is an experienced Partner in PwC China, and is a core team member of the Office of Chief Digital Officer, supporting the execution of the Firm’s digitalization initiatives. Prior to taking up this role, William was responsible for Innovation for the Risk Assurance practice. He a member of PwC China Assurance Innovation Think-tank and a member of PwC Global Assurance Disruption Group.

William specialised in the field of information risk management after qualifying as a UK Chartered Accountant in 1990. William has over 30 years’ experience in providing a wide range of assurance and advisory services relating to the assessment of business and technology risks, as well as the design, review and enhancement of business and technology processes and controls. William is a member of the core leadership team at PwC China driving the adoption of Blockchain technology, including the regulation and risk management of, and the accounting approach to, crypto currencies and digital assets. He participated in several studies relating to the regulation and risk management of crypto currencies and digital assets trading, as well as identity verification using Blockchain. William has been driving the adoption of XBRL since 2000 in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. William was appointed by the China Ministry of Finance in 2009 to assist the development of the China Accounting Standard Common Taxonomy framework, and is one of the leading specialist in this field; he was the first professional accountant invited to be a member of the China National Accounting Informatisation Standardisation Technical Committee (SAC/TC524). William has a clear understanding of the impact on the accounting profession driven by national and international data standards, including GB/T 24589 and ISO/PC 295, and have a deep understanding of global digital regulatory reporting trends, including the Interactive Data Filing requirements issued by the US SEC, and the coming European Single Electronic Format proposed by the European Securities and Markets Authority.

William is one of the experienced expert in the field of technology related risks in China. He is intimately familiar with international information security management standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 27000), best practice frameworks, as well as IT related legislations covering digital signatures, data privacy, and internet security. William participated in many PKI related projects and studies, with specific focus on the operation and management of Certification Authorities. William is one of the key sponsors of the WebTrust assurance standard in Hong Kong, he also provides relative trainings for the HKICPA. Xiaofei Guo joined Natixis in October 2019 as Director, Green and Sustainable Finance, Corporate & Investment Banking, Asia-Pacific. She leads the bank’s sustainable finance activities for the Asia Pacific market, developing strategies that leverage the emerging Asian capital market for climate change solutions, and promotes investment in projects and assets which are critical to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy. Xiaofei is an ICMA Green Bond and Social Bond working group member, and was invited to join the China Green Finance Committee and the Hong Kong Green Finance Association to take roles in 4 key Working Groups.

Xiaofei is part of the Natixis CIB’s Green and Sustainable Hub, whose main mission is to offer a wide range of services, from financing to investment solutions, through Green & Sustainable research and advisory services, to clients in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

Mr. Franz Josef Hahn is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Peak Re, a global reinsurer based in Hong Kong. Under Mr. Hahn’s leadership, Peak Re has grown from a start-up in 2012 to become a global company, with a footprint that reaches beyond Asia to Europe and Americas. The company’s premiums exceeded the US$1 billion mark within the first five years.

With over 30 years of reinsurance industry experience, Mr. Hahn has successfully helped build and shape the reinsurance business in the Greater China and Asia Pacific region.

Prior to founding Peak Re, Mr. Hahn has held leadership positions at major international reinsurers, spearheading their growth in the region.

Mr. Hahn is a member of the Geneva Association. He is also an active player in the Hong Kong financial and insurance industry. He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance and an Honorary Secretary of the Insurance Complaints Bureau. Before launching his reinsurance career, Mr. Hahn was a lawyer. He has worked in Germany, France, Canada, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Tracy Wong Harris is the Deputy Secretary General of Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA), which is an independent non-profit organisation with its goal to position Hong Kong as a leading global green and sustainable finance centre.

Prior to joining HKGFA, Tracy had over 16 years of financial markets experiences across various fixed income and complex structured products in JPMorgan, Mizuho International, Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas based in London and Hong Kong.

Rockson Hsu is currently the Chief Executive Officer of ZA Bank Limited.

Rockson has 27 years of banking experience in wholesale & investment banking and risk management with major foreign and local banks in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Prior to joining ZA Bank in May 2019, he was Chief Risk Officer of a listed bank in Hong Kong.

Mr. Huang joined CICC in 1998. He has 22 years of investment bank experience and 10 years of commercial bank experience.

As one of the most senior bankers at CICC, Mr. Huang is well versed with the domestic and overseas capital markets, as well as various capital operations, which therefore gives him significant influence over Chinese clients.

Witman was elected as a Global Council Member of the World Summit Awards, an initiative within the framework of UN WSIS. Witman served as a Part-time Member of the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR Government during 2012-2014, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Jinan University, an Honorary Professor of Guangxi Normal University and Hainan University Belt and Road Research Institute, and Academic Committee Member of China Silk Road iValley Research Institute.

In 2008, Witman was selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong. In 2016, he was given the Asia Social Innovation Leadership Award by CMO Asia and in 2017 he was given Light of Civilization 2017 Chinese Cultural Exchange Person of the Year. In 2015 he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong SAR Government.

Mr. Jin Liqun is the inaugural President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Before being elected as the Bank’s first president, Mr. Jin served as Secretary-General of the Multilateral Interim Secretariat tasked with establishing the Bank.

Immediately prior to assuming the role of Secretary-General of the MIS, Mr. Jin was Chairman of China International Capital Corporation Limited, China’s first joint-venture investment bank. From 2008 to 2013, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, China Investment Corporation (CIC). From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Jin served first as Deputy Chairman, and subsequently as Chairman of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF).

From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Jin was Vice President, and then Ranking Vice President, of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), in charge of programs for South, Central and West Asia, and private sector operations.

Mr. Jin joined the Ministry of Finance in 1980, where he served as Director General and Assistant Minister, and became Vice Minister in 1998. He was also a Member of the State Monetary Policy Committee. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jin served as Alternate Executive Director for China at the World Bank and at the Global Environment Facility as well as Alternate Governor for China at the ADB.

Mr. Jin holds an M. A. degree in English Literature from Beijing Institute of Foreign Languages (now Beijing Foreign Studies University). He was also a Hubert Humphrey Fellow in the Economics Graduate Program at Boston University from 1987 to 1988. He is a national of the People’s Republic of China.

Felix is a Partner in PwC Hong Kong’s Risk Assurance Cybersecurity & Privacy practice with 10 years of extensive experience. He started his career as an ethical hacker and has personally committed to help companies in Hong Kong to improve their security postures and deal with cyber attacks more efficiently. Given the nature of cybersecurity as an area that is very difficult to justify Return on Investment, Felix developed real life attack simulation methodologies and tools with PwC Hong Kong and helped his clients to transform on their cyber journeys.

Felix’s key areas of expertise and experience include IT governance, IT security framework, application and data security, IT risk, security management, technology architecture and ethical hacking focusing on high security network, web and mobile applications.

Suyi is responsible for leading CPPIB’s investment activities in Asia Pacific and overseeing its portfolio of investments in the region. As of September 2019, CPPIB has a portfolio of over C$110 billion in the Asia Pacific, and a team of approximately 150 professionals located across its Hong Kong, Mumbai and Sydney offices. Suyi is based in CPPIB’s Hong Kong office.

Suyi joined CPPIB in 2007, establishing CPPIB’s first international office in Hong Kong. She oversaw the private equity business in Asia as Head of Private Equity Asia until early 2016, when she became the Head of Asia Pacific. Suyi has almost 20 years of investment experience, with the majority spent in private equity. Prior to joining CPPIB, Suyi served at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and The Carlyle Group, as well as McKinsey & Co. in various Asian countries and at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She received her MBA from Stanford Business School and a BA in International Economics from Seoul National University. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Suyi currently serves on the board of Home Plus, one of the largest multi-channel retailers in South Korea.

Roger King is Founding Director of both the Tanoto Center for Asian Family Business and Entrepreneurship Studies and the Thompson Center for Business Case Studies, and Adjunct Professor of Finance at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His teaching and research interests include family business, family office, entrepreneurship, and corporate and family governance.

Mr Lai joined Tencent in 2009 and was the general manager for Tenpay between 2012 and 2019. In 2015, Tencent’s payment business was accelerated and developed into Tencent FiT (Financial Technology). Since then, Mr Lai has been leading Tencent FiT until 2019.

During the time when Mr Lai headed up the Tenpay and Tencent FiT business, he and the team have made contributions of strategic significance in setting up the Group’s payment infrastructure and in creating an open financial ecosystem. In 2014, Mr Lai and his team launched WeChat Red Packet and QQ Red Packet, which had gained huge popularity across China. This enabled Tencent to tap into the fast payment market and provided a solid foundation for gaining a competitive edge in mobile payment. In 2014, Mr Lai and his team also launched the wealth management platform Licaitong, which currently has a total fund holding of over RMB 800 billion (as of first half of 2019). Consequently, with payment services as an entry point, Tencent has succeeded in establishing a financial ecosystem that covers such diversified fields as wealth management, securities, banking, and blockchain. This has positioned Tencent as the leader in the FinTech sector.

In May 2019, under Mr Lai’s leadership, Fusion Bank Limited, a joint venture initiated by Tencent, was granted a virtual banking license by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. In June 2019, as Tencent’s vice president, Mr Lai was appointed as the Chairman of Fusion Bank.

Mrs Carrie Lam joined the Administrative Service of the Hong Kong Government in August 1980 and rose to the rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade A1 in September 2006. She became a Principal Official on July 1, 2007 when she was appointed Secretary for Development. She was appointed Chief Secretary for Administration on July 1, 2012.

Before assuming the post of the Chief Executive, Mrs Lam had served the public for more than 36 years in 20 public service positions including Director of Social Welfare, Permanent Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands (Planning and Lands), Director-General of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Secretary for Development and Chief Secretary for Administration.

Mrs Lam was elected as the Fifth-Term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on March 26, 2017, and was officially appointed to this position by the Central People’s Government on March 31, 2017 to assume office on July 1, 2017.

Mrs Lam is married and has two sons.

Dr. George LAM is Non-Executive Chairman - Hong Kong and ASEAN Region and Chief Adviser to Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Asia. He has served in leadership roles (including Chairman, Vice Chairman, Managing Director, CEO, COO and General Manager) with several leading multinational corporations including Hong Kong Telecom, A.T. Kearney, Singapore Technologies Telemedia (Temasek Holdings), BOC International Holdings (the Bank of China group), Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited (CP Group) and Macquarie Capital. He has extensive international experience and connections in the innovation and digital technology spheres and in general management, strategy consulting, corporate governance, direct investment, investment banking and fund management fields.

Dr. Lam has also been actively participating in community service and international affairs. Currently, he is a member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Committee on Innovation, Technology and Re-Industrialization, the Belt and Road Committee of the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (and Convenor of its Digital Silk Road Working Group), the Court of the City University of Hong Kong and the Advisory Board of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association and the Sir Murray MacLehose Trust Fund Investment Advisory Committee; Chairman of Monte Jade Science and Technology Association of Hong Kong; Honorary Advisor to the Hong Kong Business Angel Network (HKBAN); President of Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation; President of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) Executive Council and Chairman of its Task Force on Banking and Finance; and Vice Chairman of Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC). Richard Lancaster is Chief Executive Officer of CLP Holdings, the parent company of the CLP Group which is one of the largest investor operators in the electricity industry throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr Lancaster has more than 35 years of experience in the power industry and in other industrial operations in Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to assuming his current role in September 2013, he was Managing Director of CLP’s operations in Hong Kong, responsible for its electricity generation, transmission and distribution business serving 2.5 million customers in Hong Kong.

Mr Lancaster joined CLP in 1992 and has held a wide range of managerial positions within the company. His experience covers project management, power plant operations, commercial, finance, legal and corporate functions.

Besides serving in various subsidiary companies of the CLP Group as Director, Mr Lancaster is the Chairman of the Business Environment Council and a founding member of the Advisory Council of The Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Management Association and a council member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and a member of its Climate and Energy Cluster Board. He is also chairman of the Hong Kong Membership Committee of the UN-accredited World Energy Council.

Originally from Australia, Mr Lancaster is an electrical engineering graduate of UNSW Sydney.

Jonathan spent 18 years at Citigroup where he was most recently Global Head of the firm’s Retail Banking and Mortgage businesses, generating ~$12Bn in Revenues and spanning 19 countries. He has been at the leading edge of the financial services industry for the last 29 years across the Asia Pacific region and globally. He brings a unique blend of strategic vision, operational depth, and understanding of the new technology landscape. He has led multiple large-scale, successful businesses across a wide range of markets and has extensive experience in negotiating and managing partnerships and M&A transactions.

Jonathan is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore and was named Retail Banker of the Year in 2011 by Asian Banker magazine. He has been widely quoted in major business publications including the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the Economist as well as local media throughout Asia Pacific. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Mr. Christopher Lau is the Group Assistant Managing Director of Cargo Services Group and Head of the Greater China since April 2018. He possesses more than 7 years of experience in international retail supply chain and logistics management having worked closely with many major retailers in Australia and the United Kingdom in the development of their global supply chains including the setup of eCommerce operations in China, sourcing offices and QC facilities.

Mr. Christopher Lau was the Group Assistant Managing Director and an Executive Director at Cargo Services from 2006 to 2012, where he founded the GAM business in 2007 and led the development in the Australasia market.

In 2013, Mr. Christopher Lau co-founded eCargo Enterprise Limited (ASX:ECG), and subsequently led its successful IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange in November 2014. He was the CEO and Executive Director of ECG from ECG’s inception until March 2018.

Mr. Christopher Lau was instrumental in the transformation of Cargo Services to become the leading integrated retail supply chain solutions service provider in Hong Kong, contributed significantly in the development and implementation of the LIMA® platforms for many retail brands and was involved in the acquisition of Allport Limited together with HSBC’s strategic investment in CS Logistics in 2010. He was an Executive Director of CS Logistics from 2010 to 2012.

Mr. Christopher Lau holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Leonard Stern School of Business at New York University. He spent several years with Ernst and Young LLP and Deutsche Bank in New York working in audit, structured products and fixed income. He was appointed as a member of the 14th Nanjing Political Consultative Conference in 2018, an Honorary Member of the Court at the Hong Kong Baptist University since 2012 and is a Vice-Chairman of the fundraising committee of the Dragon Foundation, a non-profit organisation in Hong Kong. He is the son of Mr. John Lau, Founder and Group Managing Director of the Cargo Services Group.

Mr Edmond Lau is responsible for external affairs, Financial infrastructure and research. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Economics and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Hong Kong. Mr Lau joined the Hong Kong Government as an Administrative Officer in 1986. He joined the HKMA in 1997 as Division Head (Banking Development) and had been involved in banking reform and the establishment of the Deposit Protection Scheme. He also served as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Executive of the HKMA in 2004 after a one-year secondment to the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. Mr Lau was promoted as Executive Director (Strategy and Risk) in 2005. He assumed the post of Executive Director (Monetary Management) from 2007 to 2013 when he resigned from the HKMA to pursue further study and, thereafter, take up a leadership role in an NGO. Mr Lau joined HKMC Annuity Limited as Chief Executive Officer in 2017.

Dr. Frederic Lau is the Chief Executive of Airstar Bank Limited, the joint venture between Xiaomi and AMTD, and one of the eight Virtual Banks in Hong Kong. He also serves as the Vice Chairman at AMTD. Dr. Lau has over 30 years of experience in regulating and managing financial institutions, especially in areas such as industry development, regulatory framework, risk management and internal control. Dr. Lau served in Hong Kong and US regulatory agencies for years, including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Office of Thrift Supervision (subsequently merged with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, OCC), the US Treasury Department. Dr. Lau was an Executive Director and Group Risk Director at Dah Sing Banking Group, a member of the Board of Directors of Dah Sing Bank (China) and Shenzhen Development Bank (subsequently renamed as Ping An Bank). He was also a Managing Director of Promontory Financial Group.

Mr Lau was appointed the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 1 July 2017.

Mr Lau joined the Hong Kong Government as an Administrative Officer (AO) in 1979 and was promoted through the ranks to AO Staff Grade C in April 1988. He joined the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in April 1993 and was the Head and Executive Director of various divisions of the HKMA until 2004.

In July 2004, Mr Lau was seconded to the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation as Chief Executive Officer until he retired in December 2012. Mr Lau was appointed Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury in January 2014.

Mr Lau holds a Bachelor of Mathematics (Computer Science and Statistics) Honours Degree and a Master of Mathematics Degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Theodora (Theo) Lau is public speaker, writer, podcast host, startup advisor, and a community builder, whose work seeks to spark innovation to improve consumer financial well-being. As founder of Unconventional Ventures, she focuses on developing and growing an ecosystem of financial institutions, corporates, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists to better address the unmet needs of consumers (e.g. older adults and gig economy workers), with keen interests in women and minority founders. As part of her work, she regularly mentors and advises FinTech startups. She is recognized as LinkedIn Top Voice for Economy and Finance, No. 1 Women in Finance by Onalytica, and Top FinTech influencer by various publications including Fintech Power 50, Retail Banker International, FinTech Finance, and FinTech News Switzerland. Howard Lee is responsible for monetary management, financial stability surveillance and reserves management. He joined the HKMA in 2009 as a Division Head and has worked in various other areas including banking policy, corporate services, financial infrastructure and fintech. He was appointed as a Deputy Chief Executive on 1 January 2018. Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr Lee worked in the Hong Kong SAR Government in areas relating to economic development, financial services and other public policies.

Maggie Lee currently manages in Thailand the SEA circular project, an initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA) to inspire market-based solutions and help formulate policies to prevent marine plastic pollution. She was previously leading the Market Transformation effort in Singapore for WWF. After several roles in research & development and technical affairs in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industry with moguls such as Aeon, Nestle and P&G, Maggie has been keen on creating sustainable solutions for Asia. With experience from Hong Kong, Canada, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore, she has been working on sustainable business initiatives, such as being the secretariat for the Support Asia for Sustainable Palm Oil (SASPO.org), and the strategist for the WWF Plastic ACTion (PACT) and the WWF Responsible Seafood Group. She is consulted for cross-sector, multinational efforts on sustainable businesses. She has spoken in over 40 panels in the last couple of years about the focuses of her work - "sustainable procurement of conflict resources", such as palm oil, plastic and seafood, "responsible consumption" at hotels and of food, "market transformation" for new heights of industry-wide corporate sustainability. Maggie's publications are primarily on NGO-corporate relationships, sustainable commodity procurement, and ASEAN environmental governance.

Prior to co-founding AQUMON, Mr. Kelvin Lei was a Vice President of Deutsche Bank’s Institutional Client Group. During his career as a Fixed-income Sales, Mr. Lei has helped financial institutions and corporates allocate over USD10 billion into global assets through a wide range of financial instruments. In 2008, Mr. Lei led the transaction of an HKD 1.5 billion 15-year interest rate swap between DBS and China Development Bank. During his days at Credit Suisse, Mr. Lei acted as the sole coverage for China Merchant Bank and ICBC. At CICC, Mr. Lei was the Sales team leader, covering top-tier asset managers such as PIMCO and BlackRock, and independently led the issuance of Ford’s ABS deal in onshore China.

With his acute sense for institutional needs, Mr. Lei is now driving adoption of artificial intelligence and automation technology within banks, asset managers, and wealth managers. Mr. Lei currently directs AQUMON’s product development and go-to-market strategy and leads the Institutional Client Group in aggressively expanding client coverage. Mr. Lei obtained Master in Finance degree from University of International Business & Economics in Beijing, China.

Hugo Leung is the Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong, BNP Paribas and CEO of BNP Paribas Securities (Asia) Limited. He oversees the full breadth of the bank’s integrated and diversified offering in Hong Kong, encompassing all corporate and institutional banking activities.

As its CEO, Hugo is responsible for the overall management of the legal entity of BNP Paribas Securities Asia, supervising its activities. Prior to his current role, he oversaw Global Markets activities in Hong Kong including fixed income, equities and commodity derivatives business. Hugo has extensive financial services experience having held various roles since joining BNP Paribas in 1993. He has a B.A. degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University in Canada and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

In April 2017, Hugo was appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director for Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), where he serves on the Audit Committee, Risk Committee, Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, Executive Committee, Panel Member Nomination Committee, Investment Advisory Committee, and he is also the Deputy Chairman of Derivatives Market Consultative Panel.

Ms Leung is a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). She is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director with responsibility for the Intermediaries Division, which comprises the Intermediaries Supervision and Licensing departments. That Division is primarily responsible for administering licensing requirements and conducting ongoing supervision of licensed corporations with a focus on their business conduct and financial soundness.

Prior to joining the SFC, Ms Leung was the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury from August 2008 to December 2013 and worked with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) for 14 years.

Ms Leung graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned a master's degree from Columbia University in the City of New York. She authored a book on how Asia surmounted various financial crises.

Ms Leung chairs the Academic and Accreditation Advisory Committee and the Fintech Advisory Group. She also sits on the Investment Committee, the SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee, the Budget Committee and the Executive Committee.

Sammie leads the Sustainability and Climate practice in PwC Hong Kong and China South and she has a strong passion with the governance and sustainability (Environmental, Social and Governance or ESG) profession.

In additional to her client serving role at PwC, Sammie serves as an external Audit Committee Member of a tertiary education in Hong Kong. Sammie serves the Sustainability Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountant and two Working Groups (ESG and Policy) of the Hong Kong Green Finance Association.

Sammie has led more than 50 sustainability-related advisory projects covering United Nation Sustainability Development Goals (UNSDG), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and ESG disclosures. She has also assisted investment funds (public and private) in developing and improving their ESG practices, including the integration of ESG and climate factors into the risk and investment process.

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Sammie is a Certified Public Accountant (ACCA, HKICPA), Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) and Certified in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).

Ehud gained more than two decades of expertise in the high-tech industry as an entrepreneur, investor and operator.

Currently Ehud is the Managing Partner of Canaan Partners Israel, an Israeli venture capital fund, and a Venture Partner with Lenovo Capital heading its investment opportunities in Israel. Ehud is also an active angel investor operating as a partner with a leading invest ent team, Kaedan Capital.

Prior to these activities, Ehud was a Managing Partner at Vertex VC for seven years. Among other successful investments, Ehud identified Waze as a bright star from the start, leading the first investment round in the company and serving on its board of directors until its acquisition by Google for over $1 Billion.

Previously, Ehud co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, a mass-market device specialist for mobile content distribution. He led the business from concept to commercial success, an IPO in London and eventual acquisition.

Earlier, he served as COO and CFO of Telegate, a telecommunications company, where he was responsible for a restructuring plan leading to the acquisition of the company for over US$400 million. Prior to Telegate, Ehud was a private equity investor and investment banker in New York and Tel Aviv, serving on the boards of directors of several technology companies.

Ehud holds a BSc in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the Technion in Israel, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York.  

Mr Laurence Li, SC is the Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). The FSDC is an advisory body to the HKSAR Government on all matters relating to the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre. It engages the industry in formulating proposals to promote the further development of the financial services industry of Hong Kong and to map out the strategic direction for the development.

Mr Li’s profession is as a practicing barrister. He focuses on banking, commercial, company, and securities law. Prior to being called to the Hong Kong Bar, he served in several positions within the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong and, before that, worked in a law firm in New York.

Mr Li is a Judge of the International Court and Regulatory Tribunal in Doha, Qatar. He is also a Fellow of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an Honorary Fellow of the Asian Institute of International Financial Law at The University of Hong Kong, and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Financial Regulation and Economic Development at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Michelle Li leads AMTD Digital with a vision to offer one-stop, cross-market and intelligent digital finance solutions for Asian consumers and SMEs - to make digital financial services interoperable and simple. AMTD Digital is building digital banking, insurance and payments in Hong Kong and Singapore with an ambition to expand into other Asian markets. Before becoming the CEO of AMTD Digital, Ms. Li heads the Research department of AMTD Group. She specialises in analysing global FinTech industry and financial sector. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of Ultra High Net Worth in Asia. Today, the ultra-high net worth business is the leading wealth manager for ultra-high net worth individuals in the region.

Mr Eric Ng formed Happiness Capital, the global venture capital arm of Lee Kum Kee Health Products Group with the mission of creating global impact and making the world a happier place. Previously, Eric co-founded AGENDA in 2000 and grew it into the largest independent digital marketing agency in Asia, which was acquired by WPP in 2008. Jane Ong has more than 20 years’ experience in communications in various consultancy, in-house and journalism roles across key markets in Asia, including China, India, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Peng is a veteran entrepreneur with over 25 years of industry experience as both an entrepreneur and an investor in Silicon Valley and in Asia. He is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Monk’s Hill Ventures – an early-stage tech Southeast Asian venture capital firm. Prior to Monk’s Hill Ventures, he was a Venture Partner at GSR Ventures in China. The firm is known for its successful investments in companies like Didi Chuxing and Qunar. Vivek Pathak was appointed IFC Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific in October 2014. He has extensive emerging markets experience in principal investments, restructuring and risk management across all industry sectors. Mr. Pathak joined IFC in 1998 and has since covered Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia in various leadership capacities. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Pathak leads IFC’s advisory and investment operations across 18 countries, which in fiscal year 2019 reached US$3.8 billion in long-term investments, including funds mobilized from other investors. Previously, he served as IFC Director for Investment and Credit Risk based in Washington DC, managing a team of professionals responsible for global coverage of credit risk, investment risk, integrity risk, pricing and credit/equity training. Prior to that, he oversaw IFC’s portfolio in the Middle East and North Africa and led IFC’s business development efforts in frontier markets like Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. Before joining IFC, Mr. Pathak worked with Bank of America and ABN AMRO Bank in new business and risk management. In his capacity as Head of Risk Management at ABN AMRO Bank Thailand, he was responsible for managing a large and diverse portfolio during the Asian Financial Crisis.

Dan is Managing partner of Hatton Capital limited a family office based out of Thailand. We invest in three primary strategies; direct investments in which our primary investment mandate is controlled investments with a bias towards management buyouts; managed assets in which we run a private equity fund for the Thai government and impact investments.

He currently spends most of his time running a company he recently acquired for a little under US$100m, NR Instant Produce Limited (NRF) a leading Asian food manufacturer based in Bangkok, and is in the process of going public. Under NRF he established Nove Foods as an investment holding company focused on the alternative protein sector; Nove has direct investments in several startups and is a GP/LP in Big Idea Ventures a $50,000,000 accelerator anchored Temasek and Tyson Foods. Separately he is co-founder of Equity partners (EPL) a multi-family office that recently acquired the second largest microfinance company in Thailand together with a global PE Firm. Over the past decade has completed half a billion dollars in acquisitions.

His primary passion is sustainable development and as Chairman of The Path Foundation is pushing for greater access to education and promote sustainable development. He graduated with a BS in finance from Thammasat University and a master’s in international economics from Chulalongkorn university. Investment thesis for our controlled investments is to acquire industrialist companies and transform them into sustainability driven companies with triple bottom line reporting. In 2017 we acquired NR Instant produce and have spent two years transforming the company and expect to list the company in mid 2020 at a 8x return on capital. NRF will be the first carbon neutral sauce factory in Thailand and has a goal to take 10,000 farmers out of poverty by 2030.

Martin Raiser is the World Bank’s Country Director for China and Mongolia, and Director for Korea since March 1, 2019. Mr. Raiser is leading a team that is managing one of the World Bank’s largest loan portfolios and directs an extensive analytical and advisory program with China and Mongolia, and a growing knowledge partnership with Korea.

Mr Raiser holds a doctorate degree in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of Kiel, Germany, and degrees in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. Mr. Raiser worked for the Kiel Institute of World Economics and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he was Director of Country Strategy and Editor of the Transition Report. Arnout van Rijn is CIO Asia Pacific as well as Fund Manager of Robeco Asia-Pacific Equities and Robeco Asian Stars Equites.

Arnout started his career in the investment industry in 1990 and has over 25 years of experience in the asset management industry. From 2003 to 2007, he was Fund Manager of Rolinco, Rebeco’s flagship global growth equity fund.

From 2000 to 2002, Arnout worked in Hong Kong as the Head of the Fund Desk at Rabo Investment Management. From inception in 1994 until 2000, he was Fund Manager of Robeco Emerging Markets Equities. Alfred Romann is a writer and editor based in Hong Kong. He has more than 20 years of experience working in North America, Asia and Africa. Dr Ruth A. Shapiro is the Founder and Chief Executive of the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS). CAPS is a research and advisory non-profit organization based in Hong Kong and working throughout Asia. CAPS is committed to producing world-class, evidence-based research to help philanthropists, governments and social delivery organizations maximize the positive impact of private social investment.

Dr Shapiro is the primary author of Pragmatic Philanthropy: Asian Charity Explained, published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2018. She is the editor of The Real Problem Solvers, a book about social entrepreneurship in America. She also co-authored the book, Building Energy Efficiency: Why Green Buildings are Key to Asia’s Future. Medhy is the founder and producer of the social media series WhatTheFinTech, a series of short videos offering insight, news and views on FinTech and the latest innovations.

Medhy has received numerous industrial awards over the years. Zachary Squire is the Chief Investment Officer and Co-founder of Tekmerion Capital Management, a systematic global macro investment manager based in New York and backed by the family offices of Alan Howard (Brevan Howard) and Mike Novogratz (Fortress, Galaxy Digital). Prior to Tekmerion, Mr. Squire traded Emerging Markets from the London office of HBK, a US-based multistrat. Mr. Squire began his career at D. E. Shaw—where he worked primarily on implementing a new risk reporting framework across the firm’s complex multistrategy funds— before moving to Bridgewater, where he he was a member of the Research Department on the "Ray Team" which supported the CIO Ray Dalio's investment strategy research, and of the Trading Department where he headed the firm's FX trading execution strategy. Mr. Squire graduated as valedictorian from Princeton University, where he studied Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek).

Mr. Stein has been Managing Director of the Private Wealth Management Association since December 2016. Mr. Stein previously worked for UBS AG where he oversaw the company’s Group Governmental Affairs for Asia Pacific and then served as Head of Regulatory Advisory & Relations, Asia Pacific. In 1997, he graduated from the Czuczor Gergely Benedictine Gymnasium in Győr, after which in 2002 he received a degree in Foreign Affairs from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration.

He has been a Member of Parliament for Fidesz since 2002, and in 2018 began his fifth term in Parliament.

From 2006 to 2010 he was Fidesz Communications Director, the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson from 2010 to 2012, and was Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations at the Prime Minister’s Office from 2012 to 2014.

Maverick is currently Chief Risk Officer of Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (HKICL) and Hong Kong Trade Finance Platform Company Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of HKICL). He drives the strategic direction and provides oversight of the company’s enterprise risk management. He has extensive experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, internal controls, information security and data privacy. Prior to taking up this role, he was the Head of Internal Audit of HKICL. He also held managerial positions in information risk management team of a global bank and risk advisory team of a big four professional firm.

Mervyn Tang is a Senior Director and Global Head of ESG Research in Fitch Ratings’ Sustainable Finance division, based in Hong Kong. Mervyn oversees a global research team of 3 which primarily focus on thematic and cross sector ESG research. Mervyn re-joined Fitch Ratings in March 2019 from MSCI Inc., where he was Head of Fixed Income in their ESG Research department, based in Hong Kong. Mervyn has worked with fixed income investors globally supporting them on integrating ESG into their investment process. Prior to joining MSCI in 2017, Mervyn was a Director in Fitch’s Sovereign Group, with the Asia-Pacific team. Mervyn has also worked as an international economist at the Bank of England in London, a diplomat at the British Embassy in Washington DC, and an equities analyst at Citigroup.

Mervyn earned an MSc in Economics with distinction from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a BA in Economics and Management from Oxford University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Dr. Cheney Tsoi is the founding president of the Asia Blockchain Society, a visiting (guest) professor at the World Blockchain Business School, president of Hong Kong Blockchain Asset Management Co., and a tutor at Tencent Holding's startup incubator in Shanghai. Dr. Tsoi is widely recognized in the blockchain sector as a pioneer and he has taken part in countless debates and studies on blockchain technologies at globally renowned universities (University of Cambridge in the UK, University of Toronto, California Institute of Technology, University of Hong Kong, and Tsinghua University). In 2014, he published 'Bitcoin Is Changing the World,’ Asia's first book on bitcoins, and in 2017 he brought out 'Decoding Wealth Inheritance,’ the world's first book to look at the inheritance of digital assets.

Jianyu (Jason) Tu, Stanford MBA, Forbes 30 Under 30 Honoree, Co-Founder and CEO of MioTech. Jason’s career spans across banking and tech startups around the globe. He kicked off his career at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong and has since then worked at a number of startups such as WeLab and Robinhood in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the U.S. He saw a technological gap that left financial services behind and since then, he’s been determined to bring world-class FinTech solutions to Asia. His startup, MioTech has achieved great milestones in the past 33 months with the backing of ZhenFund, leading VC in China and Horizons Ventures, the investment arm of Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka Shing.

James joined Prudential in November 2010 as the Director of Group-wide Internal Audit and was appointed Director of Group Finance in September 2015. In this role his principal responsibility was the delivery of the Group’s internal and external financial reporting. He was responsible for business planning and performance monitoring, the development of the Group’s Solvency II internal model and for the Group’s capital and liquidity planning. James joined the Board as an Executive Director and Group Chief Risk Officer in March 2018. Prior to the demerger of M&G Plc, he led the negotiations with Hong Kong Insurance Authority on the revised capital framework for the Group and in July 2019 assumed responsibility for Group Compliance, becoming the Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, relocating to Hong Kong in August 2019.

Prior to joining Prudential, James was the Deputy Head of Compliance for Barclays. He also held a number of senior internal audit roles across the Barclays group, leading teams that covered the UK, the US, Western Europe, Africa and Asia retail and commercial banking activities. Prior to Barclays, James led internal audit teams in UBS in both the UK and Switzerland.

Clarence is the Chief Economist for Swiss Re in Asia. He is also the Asia Regional Head of Swiss Re Institute.

He leads a team of researchers based in Hong Kong, Beijing and Bangalore to provide Swiss Re and other stakeholders with economic and insurance insights, as well as research on emerging risk landscape in Asia. At the same time, his team contributes to Swiss Re’s sigma, the regular insurance industry report that is considered a “must-read” for anyone interested in the sector.

He has 30 years of experience specializing in helping high net-worth individuals and families primarily based in Asia Pacific with Chinese and other nationalities to devise tailor-made tax planning, family wealth and business succession planning to achieve the specific personal and family goals of such clients by using trusts, insurance and other appropriate structures for the implementation of such planning as well as family corporate governance.

He has extensive experience in advising professional bank and non-bank trustees on trust matters and provide training to them on wealth and tax planning. He is also a frequent speaker atwealth forums and tax seminars.

He has been active for over 10 years in the field of sustainable development and now serves on the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council and Green Finance Task Force to drive the development of green and responsible finance in the region. He is also part of the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Asia Pacific (UNESCAP) on their Sustainable Business Network Task Force on Banking and Finance. In his work in sustainability, he is frequently involved in Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, and sees significant value in diverse corporate leadership and workforces, to give different points of view and help organizations navigate through this increasingly complex operating environment.

Ricky is currently the Executive Director, Chief Information Security Officer of a multi-national financial institution. He was also the Head of Technology Risk Strategy & Policy of one of the largest financial institution overseeing the entire technology risk governance framework and various control measures of the institution. During his tenure, the institution won the First Computer IT Governance Achievement Award from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and it was the only winner of non-public sector.

In addition, Mr Woo has held senior management positions in various international consulting firms, heading the technology risk consulting, IT auditing and consulting services in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Mr Woo has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. In addition to network security and technology risk management, he was also the head of IT operations and managed services, data centers, and system development of several international IT service providers. He also has extensive experience in IT operations and process optimization.

Ricky is also the Convenor of Cyber Security Specialist Group of Hong Kong Computer Society. He has shared his view and professional advice on various topics in many newspapers and publications during the period. In addition, he has organized several large-scale cybersecurity forums and seminars and contribute in promoting cybersecurity and experience sharing in the industry.

Mr Andrew Y. Yan is the Founding Managing Partner of SAIF Partners, a leading multibillion dollar Venture Capital Fund in China. Prior to joining SAIF, he was the Managing Director and Head of the Hong Kong office of AIG Asian Infrastructure Funds from 1994 until 2001. From 1989 to 1994, he worked in the World Bank, the Hudson Institute and US Sprint Co. as an Economist, Research Fellow and the Director for Asia respectively in Washington, DC.

Mr. Yan received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Nanjing Aeronautic Institute in 1982. He studied in the Master Program in Department of Sociology of Peking University from 1984 to 1986 and received a Master of Arts’ degree from Princeton University in International Political Economy in 1989. Mr. Yan also studied advanced finance & accounting courses at the Wharton Business School in 1995.

Currently, Mr. Yan also holds directorships in a number of listed companies in Hong Kong, China and the United States. He is a Trustee of Peking University Endowment and a Director of its Investment Committee as well. He was also selected as one of the “Fifty Finest Private Equity Investors in the World” by the Private Equity International in 2007 and “No. 1 Venture Capitalist of the Year" by Forbes (China) in 2008 and 2009.

Ms. Yang is the Head of Private Equity Asia-Pacific at Mercer based in Hong Kong. She has been in the financial services industry since 2000 and has been active in the Asia private market since 2004. Ms. Yang works closely with Mercer’s alternative team and clients to research and invest in Asia private market funds across geographies and strategies (Venture, Growth, Buyouts). She chairs the Asia Pacific Rating Review Committee and is a member of the Global Private Equity Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Mercer, Ms. Yang led Asia primary fund investments at Hamilton Lane and was a Vice President at CCMP Asia (fka JP Morgan Partners) where she focused on buyouts in North Asia. She started her career in investment banking at Citigroup Global Markets.

Ms. Yang is a graduate of the Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania and holds dual degrees from The Wharton School and the College of Arts & Science. She is a CFA Charterholder.

Dr Yau Teng Yan (MBBS, M.Med, FRCR) is Chief Medical Officer at Holmusk, a healthcare company that leverages technology and data science to transform the lives of people living with chronic diseases & mental health conditions.

Prior to Holmusk, Teng Yan was a practising clinician for 7 years in several large public hospitals in Singapore including Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (London). He has also worked at the Military Medicine Institute where he was involved in health policy decisions and health screening initiatives in the Singapore Armed Forces.

He is a big believer that technology and artificial intelligence will transform the delivery of healthcare, to achieve better outcomes, reduced costs and improved patient experience. He has been an invited speaker at several local and overseas conferences to share his views, including in China, Thailand, Malaysia, and also a previous TEDx speaker.

Dr. Janet L. Yellen is a Distinguished Fellow in Residence at the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at the Brookings Institution. From February 2014 to February 2018, under the Obama and Trump Administrations, she served as chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, making history as the first woman to be appointed to that position.

Prior to her four-year term as chair, Dr. Yellen served as vice chair of the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors and, from 2004 to 2010, as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

While serving as a member of the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors (1994–1997), Dr. Yellen was appointed by President Bill Clinton as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers. From 1997 to 1999, she also chaired the Economic Policy Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. Earlier in her career, she served as an economist with the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors.

Dr. Yellen enjoyed an accomplished career in academia as an assistant professor at Harvard University (1971–1976) and a lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1978–1980). In 1980, she joined the faculty of the University of California at Berkeley, where she was named the Eugene E. and Catherine M. Trefethen Professor of Business and Professor of Economics. Currently, she is a professor emeritus at the Haas School of Business.

A Keynesian economist, Dr. Yellen has written on a wide variety of issues in macroeconomics and labor economics. She is a member of both the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She has served as president of the Western Economic Association International, vice president of the American Economic Association and a fellow of the Yale Corporation.

She is the recipient of the Wilbur Cross Medal from Yale, the Adam Smith Award from the National Association for Business Economics and the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government from the University of Illinois Institute of Government & Public Affairs. She has also received honorary doctorate degrees from Brown University, Bard College, the London School of Economics and Political Science, NYU, the University of Warwick and Yale. In 2014, she was named by Forbes as the second most powerful woman in the world, and in 2015, Bloomberg Markets ranked Dr. Yellen first on their annual list of the 50 most influential economists and policymakers.

Born in Brooklyn in 1946, Dr. Yellen was her high school valedictorian. She graduated summa cum laude from Brown University with a degree in economics in 1967. Dr. Yellen went on to receive her Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 1971—the only woman among that doctoral class. She wrote her dissertation under the supervision of Nobel laureates James Tobin and Joseph Stiglitz.

Dr. Yellen is married to Nobel Prize-winning economist George Akerlof. Their son, Robert, is also an economist.

Danny Yeung, serves as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Prenetics Group – the leading genetics-enabled digital health company in Southeast Asia, headquartered in Hong Kong, with offices in Asia, Europe and Africa. In 4 years, Prenetics has grown into a team of 120+ people and has raised more than US$50M in funding from Alibaba and more.

Prior to Prenetics, Danny was a Founding Partner at SXE Ventures. He also founded uBuyiBuy in 2010, a company that was acquired by Groupon. Danny was appointed CEO of Groupon East Asia before leaving the company in early 2014.

Danny’s entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 25 when he ventured into franchising Hong Kong dessert chain, Hui Lau Shan by taking it to the USA. After exiting Hui Lau Shan, Danny ventured into hospitality furniture, executed projects with MGM City Center, City of Dreams Macau and The Venetian. Danny received his BS in MIS from the University of San Francisco in 2002.

Elton has over 30 years of extensive experience in audit and business advisory, and has serviced major clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong, particularly those in the TMT, Energy, and Network Technology sectors He has led numerous complex listing and corporate restructuring engagements, business transformation and innovation projects for state owned enterprises and private enterprises in China He is currently Vice Chairman of PwC China

Elton is a Management Board Member of PwC China He plays a pivotal role in leading the development of the firm’s strategy and execution, spearheading innovation and transformation projects, as well as propelling collaboration across all lines of service.

Elton has established the PwC China Centre of Excellence and is dedicated to drive innovative services, data analytics and strategic research, as well as integrated urban services.

Elton is a CPA in Hong Kong, a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ( and a practising member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants ( HKICPA).

Elton graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1988 majoring in Management Studies and Economics He attained his EMBA at Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2013.

A multilingual, globally minded professional, Pauline has in the past decade forged a career path that reflects a unique combination of expertise in financial policy and markets with experience in arts research and communications.

In 2017, Pauline joined the Hong Kong Government as Political Assistant to Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury. In this politically appointed role, she builds on her prior experience at Morgan Stanley and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, leading policy research, stakeholder engagement, and special projects and initiatives in financial services and financial technologies. Pauline also spearheads efforts to engage young people in policymaking, notably by organizing dialogue sessions with young professionals in the financial services industry.

In relation to the arts, Pauline's interest in culture and creativity encompasses the classical and the contemporary, the Eastern and the Western. She has worked on French artist JR's "Inside Out" public art project and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami's exhibition during Art Basel. She also directed arts policy research at a top-ranked think tank in Hong Kong.

Pauline regularly speaks at local schools and student events such as the Tencent Finance Academy and Sing Tao Daily Debating Competition. Pauline holds an A.B. in Woodrow Wilson School (Hang Seng Scholar, Sir Edward Youde Scholar, Daniel M. Sachs Scholar) from Princeton University (2008) and an M.A. in Arts and Cultural Enterprise (with Distinction) from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (2019). Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and Japanese, she is also learning French.

Arthur Yuen is in charge of the full range of banking policy, supervision, conduct, and enforcement issues at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). He joined the HKMA in 1996 as Head of Administration and has since taken up different responsibilities including research and liaison on China economic and market development issues before being appointed Head of Banking Supervision in 2000. He took up the position as Executive Director (Banking Development) in July 2004, Executive Director (Banking Supervision) in June 2005 and Executive Director (External) in July 2008. He was appointed to his present position on 1 January 2010.

Katy is Managing Partner at HK-based Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFi) platform, supporting family offices and investors on their sustainable and impact journeys. Her passion for spreading sustainable investment practices to the broader market drove her to take this role in 2019.

Katy previously served as Director of Investment at RS Group, a HK-based impact investor since 2010. She oversaw the transition of their portfolio to 100% Sustainable, and developed deep insights in sourcing, conducting and managing sustainable fund investments through the past 9 years with the group.

Prior to RS Group, she worked at JPMorgan Investment Bank. She is the co-founder of Table for Two, a local non-profit raising awareness on global food imbalance.

Zhu Jiang is the blockchain business leader and general manager for blockchain research and development at Kingsoft Cloud’s Blockchain Department. He is in charge of studying the prospective application of blockchain technologies and corresponding product R&D and is exploring the in-depth integration of blockchain with the gaming and finance sectors. Zhu initiated the building of solutions for financial alliance chains, aiming to resolve small and mid-sized companies' fundraising difficulties. He also began research in healthcare, documentation, copyrights and other fields. Zhu once served as IBM Global Cloud Advisor and has been focusing on the technological development of bitcoin and other virtual currencies since 2013. He joined Kingsoft Cloud in March 2018, and launched Kingsoft Cloud's KBaas blockchain platform, which targets the gaming sector. He is currently engaged in improving KBaaS platform's empowerment in the financial sector.
